Basic Pay – £11.00- 11.50 per hour + Overtime

We are looking for an experienced Site Welder fabricator who is looking for an full time position which will become permanent for the right person within a growing and expanding company. This company has experienced excellent growth in recent years and has earned a reputation for providing quality workmanship. The company has a workshop based in Driffield where they manufacture machinery. They then fit their products on their customer’s premises.  

The role involves attending site and fitting and repairing machinery. You will have the ability to work all positions with the MMA welding process and also potentially in tight spaces. Additionally, you are required to carry out high standard of welding to thickness between 3mm and 15mm. You maybe asked to work in and around the UK. We are looking for someone:

• Versatility to work overtime at short notice to customer demand.
• Have a proactive approach to the job and always have an alternative plan if plan A doesn’t work.
• Very well mannered individual to liaise with customers on site.
• Prepared that some work may require working on wet grounds.
• Aware that they will be representing the company upon site visits.
• Eye for quality and pride in work.
• Adheres to all health and safety of our site and also regulations on customers sites.
• If short on site work and repairs this person will need the ability to think outside the box to create new jigs and fixtures for our workshops and create things using their own initiative.

This is a full time role and will lead to a permanent contract after 12 weeks work. We have a start immediately.

The pay is £11 per hour. The hours are Monday to Friday day shifts,
