Response Time
We keep an up to date list of available drivers so that we can respond rapidly to any client booking. We can supply drivers within one hour of a client calling our offices. Equally if we do not have anyone available, our staff will inform you promptly within half an hour.
Driver Recruitment Proceedures
We understand that delivery drivers are responsible for a commercial vehicle and its goods in transit which represents a sizeable amount of money. We also understand that delivery drivers are often the face of your business and create an impression with your customers. Because of this we are extremely selective in the drivers we will employ. Our drivers have to attend a face to face interview, complete a written application form and several Driver Regulations and Tachograph tests.
We also ensure our drivers:
- Have 2 years previous driving experience for the class of vehicle.
- Have checkable references from past employers.
- Have a maximum of 6 penalty points on their driving licence (no drink driving or dangerous driving convictions)
- Are over 25 years of age (for insurance purposes)
- Have a UK driving licence
Customer Piece of Mind
Our stringent recruitment process cuts down on accidents our drivers have and our record is very good. However, we are realists and know that accidents do happen. As a result we have invested in Driver Negligence Insurance which covers our clients vehicles for any damage caused by our drivers.
