An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced quality engineer to join the team within a growing engineering business based in Sheffield.  The company is involved with high tech green industry products and are looking for a quality engineer to develop and implement their quality strategy.

The candidate will be familiar with ISO9001:2008 and have experience in writing Quality processes, Work instruction, Policing and Promoting them to the production personnel. The ideal candidate will have undertaken 8D problem solving activities and will concentrate initially on product and process improvement activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience of being a Quality engineerr in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of ISO standards
• Experience in supporting changes and improvements
• Understanding of quality problem solving tools across 8d, 5Whys and root cause analysis
• Experience with a variety of production processes and equipment
