Job Purpose Summary:

To answer telephones, capture and process customer orders. To effectively deal with general customer enquiries, invoice queries and customer complaints (cases). To project a professional company image through telephone interaction with all callers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promptly answer telephone and respond to customer requests.

• Sell products and place customer orders on S.A.P computer system.

• Provide customers with products and services information.

• Sell additional products and services wherever possible (up selling).

• Transfer incoming enquiries to appropriate members of staff.

• Effectively deal with customer cases, using in-house knowledge, systems and company reference materials.

• Follow-up on all unresolved customer cases.

• Manage as necessary, damages, shortages, returns and credit claims in relation to customers.

• Manage the completion of customer back-orders ensuring that the relevant computer files are kept up to date.

• Support work colleagues with handling incoming telephone calls and enquiries as necessary.

• Maintain a safe working environment in line with the current company Health & Safety policy.
