Warehouse Operative Lates Permanent

We are now recruiting Warehouse Operatives for our well established client over in the Upper Poppleton area. This company has been operating since 1980 and is a well-known distributer in the Shoe industry.

This is a fantastic opportunity to begin a career within the warehousing industry. You will be working in a busy warehouse assisting the team with day to day tasks.

You must be able to start as soon as possible.

The working hours for this position are 12pm until 10pm on either a Monday to Friday or Saturday & Sunday shift.

The pay is £9 per hour for all hours worked, permanent positions are available for the right candidates after a 12 week period.  

This warehousing position will involve the following duties, but will not be limited to;

-Picking and packing using a hand held scanner

-Loading and unloading product from vans

-Wrapping pallets using a wrapping machine

-Using PPT trucks or FLT if you have the licence

-General upkeep of the warehouse including breaking down of boxes

-Following health and safety regulations at all times whilst on site

-Dealing with returns Filling out paper work and reporting to your supervisor

The company has onsite parking, bike sheds, canteens with coffee and tea available.
