Transport Supervisor Permanent

Mynt recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Transport Supervisor on a permanent basis for our client based in Doncaster working a 4 on 4 off 12 hour shift pattern on days, preferably for an immediate start.

Role Responsibilities

• Days handover from Nights transport team
• Driver briefing and de-briefing
• Traffic management through the day
• Reporting discrepancies/late running etc
• Keeping traffic system up to date
• Evening Handover to nights transport team
• Weekly vehicle check to ensure company policies are being adhered to
• Accurate recording of trailer locations • Booking agency drivers
• Assist in making maintenance bookings Person Requirements
• Experienced transport operator/planner within the transport industry, ideally within road haulage
• Reliable and flexible to meet the needs of the business
• Effective communication skills • Attention to detail
• Organised, able to prioritise and multi-task
• Able to prioritise and multi-task
• Calm under pressure
• IT literate, competent in Microsoft packages
• Self-motivated, flexible and confident

Hours

• Any 4 of 7 days
• 12 hour shifts on a four on four off rota basis.
• 7 am until 7 pm

Pay & Holidays

• Annual earnings – £25000 pa
• Weekly pay
• 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
