You will ideally have relevant manufacturing / production experience. The role provides effective frontline operations and assembly within the production department. The key focus of the role is to manufacture product to the highest possible standard of quality, efficiency and with minimal wastage.
Main Duties:
The assembly of Lateral Flow devices and kits from QC to finish product. To include the dispensing of running buffer, cutting and assembly of test kits.
To ensure that all work is carried out in a safe manner in compliance with the Company’s Health & Safety Policy and Procedures and, if required complete and review COSHH assessments for new and existing materials.
To comply with all company and customer quality procedures to deliver the highest possible standard of product to meet our customers’ expectations.
To assist the Team Leaders with the manufacture process using the equipment plan and to ensure the products are completed to the delivery time frame.
To maintain performance and deliver improvements in all areas of efficiency within the team and promote continual improvement, update processes and documents when required.
To ensure you are trained in all aspects of the assembly process.
To assist with regular stock cycle counts, Bill of Materials for manufactured products and an annual stock check.
To ensure that the Team Leader is correctly appraised of any challenges and successes in the unit.
To ensure that all communication is completed with accurate data, correct facts and is carried out in professional manner.
