Quality Control Operative Permanent

We are looking for Quality Assurance Operatives to work at our potato packing company based near Tadcaster, North Yorkshire.

Quality Assurance Operatives will report to the Production Coordinator and your duties include:

• Ensuring all practises comply to food safety management systems & legislation.
• Completing any relevant documents for all checks and recordings taken
• Verifying tasks and constant monitoring of premises, procedures, and product quality
• Maintaining an accurate record of temperatures
• Identifying and reporting any non-conformance to management
• Collecting and sending samples for testing
• Preparing and assist maintaining for external audits & accreditations
• Visual checks on our products, packaging and labelling to guarantee they’re at a high standard

The ideal candidate should:

• Have some basic Quality Assurance experience.
• Have good communication skills.
• Be able to work as part of a team.
• Have a good understanding of English.
• Be able to understand and Adhere to health and safety requirements.
• Be able to understand and follow company policies and procedures.

Full training will be given with the possibility to progress and develop within the company.

Full PPE will be provided including work boots.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £12

Hours: 6am-5pm

You will be entitled to a paid 30 minute lunch break and two 15 minute coffee breaks.
