Production Technician Permanent

THE ROLE  

You will ideally have relevant lab experience and relevant qualifications to be considered for this role. However, if you have a good level of experience within a manufacturing, production or machine operating environment you could also be suitable for this role!

Main Duties:

• Manufacture a wide range of lateral flow devices (intricate, dexterous work)
• Involvement in transfer from development to production of new tests
• Responsibilities for signing off on quality checks
• Maintain good control of stock levels (regular stock counts etc.)
• Assisting with planning for the manufacturing of products
• As required, carry out COSHH assessments on products
• Take part in and assist in training and development

The ideal candidate will display the following attributes:

• Awareness of COSHH
• Computer literate
• Ability to learn/be trained on machinery
• Innovative
• Health and Safety aware
• A very high attention to detail
• Good hand eye coordination
• Able to work as part of a team

Hours of work: starting on 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday
