Our client is an innovative technology-led company focused on producing diagnostic testing kits. They develop, manufacture and distribute rapid testing devices for a range of medical and engineering applications.
Due to an exciting and rapid period of growth, we are now working in partnership to recruit a skilled production team leader to join their growing team at their manufacturing facility.
The main objectives of this newly created role include improving training, production efficiency and quality, and ensuring that customer demand is met, whilst reducing manufacturing costs. This role will also be responsible for facilitating the transfer of new products/processes into manufacturing and ensuring that all relevant procedures are followed and compliance is maintained at all times.
The ideal candidate will have experience of managing a team in a similar, ideally lab based production environment or an FMCG environment, knowledge and experience of formulating and working to a production schedule, knowledge of COSHH and H&S requirements and at the very least an understanding of ISO 9001 & ISO 13485 & ISO 17025 but ideally experience working to and maintaining these standards. Flexibility to work a range of shifts is essential and you will be required to have your own transport due to the site location.
On offer is a salary of £25,000 – £30,000 per annum plus 33 days holiday from the outset, an excellent working environment, onsite subsidised canteen, onsite gym facilities and real progression opportunities as the company grows.
