Responsibilities: You will gain a clear understanding of Lateral Flow Requirements and apply your knowledge to optimise manufacturing and Quality Control processes for new transfer products.
Use a combination of practical experience, creative thinking and continuous improvement methods, to define, specify, implement, optimise and exploit both novel and established manufacturing techniques that will enable new products to be delivered on time and according to specific project objectives.
You will execute work supporting process understanding and robustness: from optimisation of existing methods to evaluation, validation and optimisation of alternative methods, to defining critical process indicators and implementing inline quality controls, to continuous improvement and the introduction of novel techniques to further process understanding and effectiveness.
You’ll work within a multidisciplinary team, including quality control and the manufacturing function, to contribute to the development of production processes that are fit for purpose in routine manufacture.
Be flexible and resilient to change whilst responsible for delivering operational and/or technical tasks and processes across a range of core operational activities across the product lifecycle.
Trouble shooting and resolving technical issues with new product transfers to maintain project timelines.
The role is based at the York site with visits to other sites as required.
