Machine Operator Permanent

Mynt Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator to join a growing manufacturing company based in the S65 area of Rotherham. The company are growing year on year and therefore require a motivated individual to join their team.

The role is working on a 3 shift pattern. Days Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm, Nights Sunday to Thursday 10pm to 6am and Afternoon Monday to Friday 2pm to 10pm. There is also overtime available on Saturdays and Sundays.

This is a temporary to permanent position for the right candidate.

£8.02/ hour on all shifts for the first 12 weeks. After you have been offered a contract you will be paid £18,000 PA.

Main duties of the role:

• Operating the bending machine to produce frames for customers
• Keeping the machine running to target speeds
• Ensuring the quality of the products you produce is high
• Solving problems on the machine if they arise
• Working alongside the assembly department to ensure orders are ready on time

The ideal candidate must:

• Have previous machine operating experience
• Be mechancially minded
• Be able to read order sheets and documentation regaridng the product you are producing
• Be self-motivated
• Possess a strong work history
