Head of Marketing – South Yorkshire  based 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a multi award winning manufacturer based in South Yorkshire

Our clients approach to market has seen them grow over these last 12/18 months and help take them to the next step, they seek a Head of Marketing

You should be an  experienced e-commerce and/or direct to consumer marketing person, with a clear understanding of digital marketing and acquisition and able to demonstrate a proven track record in your previous roles of increasing traffic, revenue and conversions.

Educated to degree level in marketing, advertising or communications, with experience of TV and Radio marketing, with an understanding of revenue attribution.

Additionally, you will have a can-do attitude, with a no job too small mindset whilst seeing the bigger picture. You will have a curious mind, know the right questions to ask and love learning to gain new skills.

But, most importantly we are looking for someone with a growth mindset, who sees problems as opportunities and leaves their ego at the door.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of our marketing strategy in-line with our brand across digital and traditional above the line channels
• Supporting the CEO being the custodian of our brand and positioning
• Ensuring our marketing communications are aligned with our brand whether executed by ourselves or an agency we work with
• Managing and reporting marketing spend, budgets and return on investment
• Overseeing our digital acquisition strategies and activities including:
• PPC  across Ad words and Bing
• Affiliate marketing
• Social Networks
• Organic and Paid Search
• Managing our relationships with digital marketing agencies including;

1. PPC  across Ad words and Bing

2. Affiliate marketing

3. SEO management

• Overseeing our above the line marketing activities and spend including:

4.TV Advertising

5. VOD

6. Radio

• Managing and leading our marketing creative output
• Overseeing our retail in-store marketing and POS

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a proven and demonstrable marketing track record in a consumer-facing e-commerce business.
• Literate and numerate with high level of knowledge and experience of most computer applications
• Experience interrogating data and producing detailed reports with actionable insights.
• Experience working in a wider management team alongside other stakeholders.
• Great communication skills at all levels
• Understanding of PR and content marketing.
• Understanding of digital marketing, social media marketing and brand building.
• An understanding of SEO.
• You must already live within an easy commutable distance of Sheffield / Rotherham area
• Have full UK driving licence (max 6 points)
