£10.50 per hour.

We are recruiting for a Forklift Driver to join our busy produce company based in Melbourne, Pocklington. YO42 post code area. This company is 18 miles from York, 17 miles from goole, 26 miles from Hull. The company has a very busy yard, 

The forklift driver role will involve the following tasks;

• driving a counterbalance forklift,
• unloading and loading lorries with wooden boxes of potatoes,
• moving empty boxes into the shed to be loaded with potatoes,
• moving boxes into storage.
• When not forklift driving you will have to help sweep the yard, repair wooden boxes, and any other work. 

We are looking for applicants who have

• At least 1 years recent previous forklift counterbalance driving experience.
• must have a valid forklift counterbalance licence refreshed or taken within 3 years. no in house licences accepted.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Breaks are 15 minutes paid in the morning and afternoon. 30 minutes unpaid lunch. When busy there will be overtime available during the week and on Saturday morning.
