FLT Driver (Reach d2 and Counter Balance) Permanent

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Fork Lift Truck Driver (Counter Balance and Reach d2 license required) to join the team of this leading manufacturing company based in Hull. The role will involve driving a Reach Fork Lift Truck (very high working, 13 metres 8 racks high) putting stock away and taking stock out of the warehouse ready for dispatching to customers.  You will be using RF Scanners to book stock in and out of the warehouse.  You will also be driving a Counter Balance Fork Lift Truck.

THE PACKAGE & BENEFITS

• £9.00 per hour for the first 12 weeks.
• £11.54 per hour after 12 weeks.
• £12.83 per hour after 6 months.
• Working Days Monday to Friday, however nights will also going to be required.
• Free onsite parking
• Works canteen (hot food)
• Night rate is higher
• Overtime rates paid on a daily basis

THE ROLE & DUTIES

As a Reach Fork Lift Truck Driver, your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Driving a Reach Fork Lift Truck (d2 license)
• Driving a Counter Balance Fork Lift Truck
• Using RF Hand Scanners
• Keeping warehouse tidy
• Completing paperwork neatly and accurately
• Picking and Packing products
• Shrink Wrapping products
• Unloading and Loading into the racking system (8 high, 13 metres)

THE CANDIDATE

• You MUST have Counter Balance license
• You MUST have Reach FLT d2 license
• You will have worked in a warehouse environment
• You MUST have experience of working at heights of 13 metres
• Experience of all aspects of Health and Safety at work procedures is essential.
