Mynt Recruitment are currently recruiting for facilities assistants to join our growing client based within the S60 area of Rotherham on a permanent basis. This will involve supporting the facilities manager on the upkeep and maintenance of the site.
Job duties/responsibilities:
To undertake general caretaking duties such as painting, cleaning and gardening
Transport a variety of tools, equipment and supplies to complete tasks and projects
Carry out and assist with site planned preventative maintenance tasks
Work closely with production to suitable housekeeping solutions
To carry out all necessary IT based & manual recording tasks relevant to the operation of the department
Moving items around the warehouse and general labouring
Ensuring that health, safety and environmental policies are followed as per HSE/T2 ORG/001, QA and ISO 9001, 14001, 18001 requirements
The successful applicant will have:
Experience of operating hand and power tools
Valid driving licence as driving company vehicles will be necessary
Good secondary education, GCSE graced C or above in Maths, English and Science
Fork lift truck qualification (desirable)
This is a physically demanding job and you will be expected to work outside in all weather conditions.
Hours of work & pay:
Working Monday to Friday, 8am while 4pm
Salary between £18,360 – £22,000
