We are looking to recruit an Electronic Assembly Operative to work at our busy electronics manufacturer based on the out skirts of York.

The job is to start immediately. The company is a multi national manufacturer who has enjoyed a sustained period of growth and supplies several markets. We are looking to employ a candidate who has a strong background in assembly work and has plenty of experience in electronics. 

The role involves;

• assembling electronic parts using screwdrivers and spanners. 
• Testing electronics equipment
• Soldering parts to PCB boards.
• Technical problem solving skills
• Completion of documentation – both paper and IT based.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment

The company work a a normal shift pattern between Monday to Friday. The shifts are 8am to 5pm.

The pay is £8.00 per hour for the first 3 months and then you will be given a pay rise to £8.12 per hour.

This is a temporary on going role.
