MYNT Recruitment are pleased to be working in partnership with a company in the Brough area of Hull to recruit a PERMANENT Deputy Quality Manager.
The company manufacture high performance electrical cable assemblies and control panels for aerospace, defence and commercial applications.
Due to continued growth they are looking for a Deputy Quality Manager to join their quality department.
The hours of work are days, starting at 8:00am and finishing at 4:30pm.

Other duties and required experience:
Knowledge of AS9100 management systems or ISO9001 as a minimum
Discuss defective or unacceptable new goods or services with users, vendors and Manufacturing areas to determine cause of problem and take corrective /preventative action with overall responsibility for answering any customer 8D’s
Ensuring all customer FAI’s are carried out and submitted to the customer for approval in line with AS9102
Supplier approval
Approve purchase orders ensuring any first articles, terms and conditions and manufacturing requirements are reviewed including approving of external suppliers
Overall responsibility for ensuring site tooling calibration requirements are identified, submitted to external organisations where required and site tooling is maintained within calibration dates
Ensuring Customer Quality assurance requirements are understood and reviewed for revision status i.e. contracts, T & C’s, Supplier Assurance requirements etc.
Assist to manage and maintain the Companies Quality inspection and product release requirements for incoming process materials, components, processes and finished goods i.e. C of C, Release Notes etc.
Oversee all Quality related issues with regard to new product introduction
Develop, implement, communicate and maintain a Quality plan to bring the Companies Quality systems and policies into compliance with QMS requirements
Responsibility for monitoring of Quality performance against company KPI’s and creation of statistical data for dissemination to operations areas
Assist Quality Manager with external compliance audits and answering of any raised NCR’s
Define the inspection and testing resource requirements to discharge current and future Quality and Inspection workloads.
Ensure all in house training is in line with Company procedures and fulfils all customer and regulatory requirements.
Actively promotes Quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organisation
Responsible for setting of Company approved signatory requirements
