Cable Operator Temporary

Mynt recruitment are currently recruiting Cable/Production Operatives for our client based in Doncaster DN5 who are the largest British owned general wiring manufacturer in the UK. They are looking to expand their well established team with enthusiastic Production Operatives to start immediately. With room to grow and progress within the company now is an exciting time to join the team.

Working hours are on a weekly rotating basis

Working hours are 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, 10pm to 6am on a 3 weekly rotating pattern. (40 hours per week) Overtime is paid at time and a half after 42 hours worked.

Pay Rate £8.77 with chances to rise to £9.47per hour after full training completed or dependant on experience.

Permanent opportunities available based on performance and attendance after 12 weeks.

Key Role

• Responsibilities of the Position Setting up and operating winding machines
• Read and interpret diagrams
• Adjust and clean machines Complete paper work where required
• Quality checking the product
• General house keeping Adhering to onsite health and safety

Essential Requirements Of The Role

• Work experience in a production setting.
• Experience of working under pressure.
• Adequate literacy and numeracy levels for the role.
• Good communication skills for liaising with colleagues.
• Self-disciplined with a methodical and organised working style – able to manage own work load, quality and output effectively.
• Reliable and punctual. Willingness to learn.
• Physically able to lift and carry.
• Willing and able to work shifts when required
• Happy to work on both days and nights (3 weekly rotating shift)
• Can commute to DN5 for all 3 shifts.
