Elliott’s Hygiene are an independent, family-run business based in Hull. In the business for over 35 years, they are now one of the leading hygiene, packaging and catering suppliers in the Yorkshire and Humber region.
Due to on-going growth they are looking for an experienced Finance Manager. The candidate will be responsible for daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly activities.

If you have a background within an Accounts remit, dealing with various Finance and/or online purchasing, within a business environment then please apply and get in touch. Minimum AAT Level 3 required (or working towards), Must have Xero or QuickBooks. Google Docs experience would be ideal – we’re strong on systems!
This role will involve working within our proactive team, liaising with different departments, including, Sales, Purchasing and the Directors. We are looking for someone who is an excellent and proactive communicator, must be a team player, passionate, personable and engaging with a very good eye for detail and accuracy and be a solution driven team member.
Other duties and required experiences;
Overseeing and reconciling banking and petty cash preparation ensuring cash flow is accurately recorded
Attention to detail & accuracy, with strong mathematical, analytical & problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills, demonstrating a confident and accurate telephone manner
AAT Level 3 qualification or equivalent relevant experience
Experience within all areas of accounts; Dealing with payments, receipts, finalising invoices generated via purchase orders, dealing with fuel receipts.
Strong multi-tasking, analytical and problem solving skills
Proactively confident in generating and analysing Management reports, as well as all aspects of our accounts facility.
Once you have full comprehension of our systems and ethos, develop your own style and autonomy of the systems, we’d love you to make this role your own.
Excellent customer service skills
Demonstrable and excellent IT and Excel skills.
Ability to deliver to deadlines, and manage changing priorities and multiple tasks.
This role would suit someone who has strong desire to work within a finance and customer service function, organisational skills, who likes speaking to suppliers, debtors, internal teams and customers, someone who likes to have variety in their day to day working life. This person would become an integral part of this amazing family business.
