We are currently recruiting for a number of roles, in particular, the role of Technician in our Machine Shop, with the possibility of incorporating the role of Cell Leader, dependent on experience.
The Role & Duties to include:
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the Machine you are working with is Set Up correctly to the manufacture panels to the correct Quality standard and Signed Off ready for a Machine Operator to take over the production run. (If necessary, you may be asked to operate the Machine dependent on available manpower)
Drill and Blade Changes to prepare the Machine for production.
Constantly monitor the output of panel quality within the Cell or Machine you are working on.
Work to the Production Plan requirements to ensure that panels are available for next operations required.
Communicating plan to Cell members, plan work and report any issues

Biesse Techno Drills (x4)
Anderson CNC Nesting Centre
Good understanding a mechanical issues, to allow basic maintenance of non-electrical machinery issues.
You will be able to fit into a team that has a strong Health & Safety culture, with a willingness to take responsibility for the safety of themselves and others around them at all times.
You must be a Team Player, with experience in the Woodworking Industry, ideally across a number of varied Machines.
Able to make sound decisions when needed.
Calm manner, able to work under pressure.

Good standard of literacy, numeracy and communication skills.

This role is a permanent full-time position, 38 hours per week, working (Currently) a day’s based shift. Monday to Wednesday 6am to 4.30pm and Thursday 6am to 2.30pm.
