A nationally known agricultural and energy product company are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative with FLT experience to join their ever expanding team. This company are looking for an experienced Warehouse operative with FLT experience to join their team. The Warehouse Operatives primary role is to work within a team of Warehouse Operatives performing day to day duties of goods receiving and goods dispatching of all products relevant to BATA’s agricultural, retail and feed manufacturing operations. The role encompasses all aspects of goods handling, forklift truck operation, goods storage, stock-taking and housekeeping. Accurate processing of goods documentation at the goods in and the dispatch point is essential to this role.
This role will primarily be working Monday – Friday with occasional overtime on Saturdays when required. The rate of pay for this role is £8.23 per hour starting wage, with overtime been paid at time and a half, or double time on Saturdays. This rate of pay will increase after your trial period. Working hours are set between 6.00am – 17.00pm, standard shifts start at 8.00am, so the first 2 hours of your shift are paid at time and a half as it will be classed as overtime. You are required to a have a full drivers licence, as well as an in date FLT Licence.
